OZ Optics Introduces the New Optoglide Series of Laser Delivery Systems

Ottawa, ON – Sept 3, 2026 - OZ Optics Limited, a world leading supplier of fiber optic products for industrial and bio-medical applications, is introducing our Optoglide line of laser to fiber delivery systems. This new product series complements our already existing product line of laser to fiber couplers and fiber collimators and focusers, which OZ Optics has been producing for over 40 years.

Designed to be compatible with the KineFlex® line of laser coupling systems, these couplers provide the user with high coupling efficiency and precision alignment in a familiar package. The system can be optimized for a variety of laser beam diameters and operating wavelengths, including multi-wavelength laser systems.  High power handling can be ensured using a variety of techniques, including the use of high power lenses (aspheres for single wavelength applications, air-spaced achromats for multi-wavelength applications), and endcapping techniques. The output fiber can be finished with a variety of fiber connectors, or alternatively an output lens assembly to give either a collimated beam or a focused spot.  Systems can be built using multimode, singlemode, polarization maintaining, or photonic crystal fiber.  Coupling systems can be made for wavelengths ranging from 350nm to 2000nm. Multi-wavelength coupling systems can be made to deliver light from 400nm to 640nm simultaneously with high efficiency (other wavelengths can be custom ordered).
